Easter Dresses 2011

Here's a peek at the dresses I made for my girls to wear
this Easter - I love the modern, jewel tone fabric!

V*s dress -

Sweet & Simple "The Betty" style :)
I love this fabric and the sweet ric rac trim!

Miss I*s Dress -
Vintage-inspired apron dress with an extra-twirly-skirt :)

I was unsure about the knot ties, but they are really cute on! :)

Miss I* loves the sweet little "apron"
Such a fun "Sister Set" -

Fingers crossed that the weather warms up before Sunday! :)
The forecast is showing temps in the 40s! Ick! My girls may be
rockin' their new dresses with snow boots this year! ;)

A little lovely

I just received some fun photographs from Jes Brown
of Parapluie Mod Events and Jes Brown Photography -
I have TONS of beautiful images to share... once I catch up
on some sewing and have time to write up a whole post! ;)

Until then, here's a sneak peek of the loveliness...

Happy Sunday, Friends! :)

Seriously, SO lovely!

Congratulations ladies! You are all SO talented! :)

Baby Girl's Custom Wardrobe, Part One

As I've mentioned, my sweet sister and bro-in-law are expecting
their first daughter this spring. We are all so excited for them,
and just love that there is going to be a new little lady in our tutu crew! ;)

I  LOVE designing for babies, especially girl babies! :)
I have had so much fun creating for baby L* these last few months!
Here are a few of my fav pieces from L's custom-wardrobe! :)

This sweet dress is just my sister's style!
The bold brown & white zebra with deep orange trim are
a bit unconventional for babies, but I love the combination!
The dress was made from a soft knit onesie, so it will be
comfortable for Lia to wear, and easy for mom & dad to dress her in! :)

These Amy Coe shoes matched perfectly! :)

Hold my calls, please

J The Daydream Believers Shop will be closed
Wednesday April 6 - Wednesday April 13.
I am (thankfully) swamped and need some time to
complete all of the rad projects on my plate!
In the meantime, keep checking the website & Facebook page
for a look at what I’m working on and some
sneak peeks of “Queen Bees at the Beach” ;)

Thanks, friends!

Sweet as can BEE Baby Shower

So, my beautiful little sister and her hubs are expecting their very first baby this spring, a little girl! I am overjoyed to have another little lady in the family to dress up  uhm, design for! ;)

This weekend, we showered their sweet little family with love and well wishes at an intimate baby shower. The theme, choosen by my talented mama, was "Sweet as can BEE" - Here's a recap of the party :)

The Mama-to-BEE & Me :)

LOTS of sweets to celebrate a Sweet Baby Bee! :)

It's no big thing, I just want to change the world!

So I’m that girl -

The eternal optimist who, genuinely believes
we all have the ability change the world.

Who believes with my whole heart that EVERY single act of kindness,
no matter how small, MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Who prays everyday that the impact I make is a positive one.

Who seeks to live my life in a way that will make Him proud.

That girl.

I cry at ASPCA commercials.
I ache when I think about the millions of people who are in need.
I strive to live a humble life; determined to give whatever I can.

The hubs jokes that he’s going to come home one day to find I’ve given away our house; he knows that he married that girl. ;)

It's no big thing, I just want to change the world!

I’m sharing this today because I know that so many of you
queen bees and daydream believers, are also that girl; and I am
so blessed to know you all through this crazy-awesome-bloggy-world!
I appreciate your friendship and your support of my little blog. :)
We reached 50 followers this week {Yea!}

Have a great weekend, Friends! :)
