Nearly one year ago, I was approached to create a custom wedding surprise that is nothing short of SUPER!
The groom-to-be is a major Marvel comics fan, so his sweet bride arranged this fun surprise for him. I had the pleasure of designing and creating personalized super hero capes for each of the four ring bearers and two flower girls. The kids are going to surprise the groom by wearing the capes into the wedding reception. Can you just imagine how ADORABLE it will be to see six little superheros running into the hall as the wedding party is announced? So, SO fun!

The boys capes are bright red, lined with yellow, and topped with a custom emblem created for the event. The ring bearer emblem features Marvel superhero fabric topped with hand cut appliques in each of the boys’ initials. Each emblem was cut to be completely one of a kind!
The girl capes are lavender (the wedding color!) lined with pink lace and embellished with handcrafted ruffles. The flower girl emblem features a soft pink floral back round topped with hand cut lavender applique in each of the girls’ initials.

Each cape features a stay-put velcro closure for easy wear

I think these capes are just the coolest gift for the young members of the wedding party! Not only will the kids have a BLAST at the reception in their fun costumes, but they can truly enjoy them again after the wedding.
